- “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” child star Awra Briguela might not be playing ‘Ding’ in the upcoming remake of “Darna” contrary to rumors.
Awra Briguela cleared all the gossips involving his alleged role as ‘Ding’ in the new “Darna” movie starring Liza Soberano. He clarified that he did not audition for the role and there was no offer from Star Cinema to play “Darna’s” young side-kick.
The child actor said that he dud not expect the to role to be given to him since Ding is not gay. Awra further explained that his personality and Ding’s do not fit.
Despite this, the “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”’ star gets to act as his own superhero in “Wansapanatym Presents: Amazing Ving.”
Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, Awra plays Super Ving, humble child who obtained his superpowers from Super Bing (played by Ellen Adarna,) in the form of a magical stone very similar to Darna’s ‘bato.’
Awra will be joined by co-stars Roderick Paulate and Carmi Martin as Super Ving’s parents, loveteam Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo as Chelsea and Warren. Bianca Manalo will play Reptilya, Super Ving’s archenemy.
“Dito po, mapapaisip po kayo kung lalaki or bakla ako. Makikita niyo rin po iyong action na hindi ko pa nagagawa sa buong buhay ko,” according to Awra about his character Super Ving.
