- Young actor Andre Paras made his basketball comeback recently after taking a break in 2015
- He said that he felt great to return to his first love now that he hasIt felt good to be back, according to 21-year-old Kapuso star Andre Paras on playing basketball again after a two-year drought.
Andre first entered the world of sports before showbiz when he debuted as part of the varsity team of La Salle Greenhills in high school.
He continued on playing until college for both University of the Philippines and San Beda College.
It can be said that basketball is his first love.
However, he took a break from it two years ago because of his hectic schedule as an actor. He got in the industry in 2011 and has already produced movies.
Andre is a mainstay in GMA Network’s “Sunday Pinasaya” and he’s the actor behind hit Wattpad films “Diary ng Panget” and “Girlfriend for Hire.”
Comeback
He’s back in the game as part of AMA Online Education team, which competes in the PBA D-League. In his interview with PEP.ph, Andre shared his thoughts on his recent comeback.
“I feel great! I decided to play again because I have time.”
Does this mean he’a bidding his showbiz career goodbye?
Andre has no pending projects at the time yet aside from the GMA weekend show. He did not say if he’s going to leave acting.
He’s still excited with thrill of it all.
“As of now, I’m not doing anything big with work. Lenient at supportive din naman yung network with me. For me rin kasi, I do love doing both,” he said.
