Is Aljur Abrenica transferring to ABS-CBN?
Well, fans are debating over a viral photo of the former Kapuso actor that was posted on Instagram on July 1.
The actor was seen inside the ABS-CBN compound and a Star Creatives staff shared his selfie with the actor on his Instagram account. He captioned the photo, “#KapamilyaNaBaSiya?”
This has led to speculations that he will become a Kapamilya soon. Aljur’s exclusive contract with his mother network, GMA-7, ended last March. According to som reports, the Kapuso network chose not to renew his contract with Aljur for some unknown reasons.
It could be recalled that Aljur and GMA-7 had a fiery relationship in 2014 after the demands of his contract were not met by the network.
Despite the legal battle with his home network, Abrenica bounced back and was blessed with new series titled “Dangwa” with Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez in 2015.
During the launch of “Dangwa”, he confessed that even though there was a “misunderstanding,” the network had never failed to support him. His last project with the Kapuso network was “Once Again”, playing the two roles Edgardo del Mundo and Aldrin Sanchez.
