- When you’re not given the right projects and opportunities in life, there’s nothing wrong if you’ll try to look at the other side of the fence.
- It’s perfectly fine if you’re seeking for a greener pasture especially when you’re someone like Aljur Abrenica who’s starting a family now with partner Kylie Padilla.
- Aljur Abrenica was spotted in the ABS-CBN compound recently where he had reportedly auditioned for a role and a possible new project.
Star Cinema and ABS-CBN employees were reportedly surprised to see actor Aljur Abrenica [he’s more identified with the Kapuso network] inside their compound last Friday night. Aljur had a go-see with the management. He said he auditioned for a role and a possible project for both the Kapamilya network and its film arm, Star Cinema.
It seems that Aljur who used to be a homegrown talent of GMA 7 would want to follow in the footsteps of his younger brother, Vin Abrenica who jumped over and transferred from TV5 to ABS-CBN when his contract with his mother studio expired. Vin is now regularly seen on The Wildflower with Maja Salvador.
Perhaps, Aljur would also want to see himself in a teleserye just like his brother.
There’s really nothing wrong if Aljur decides to audition and transfer from GMA to ABS-CBN. After all, his exclusive contract from GMA has already expired. And as a family man, he now has obligations to fulfill since his partner, actress Kylie Padilla will soon be giving birth to their first child. Aljur needs to earn money so he can be able to raise their child and support his family’s needs.
During Aljur’s visit at the ABS-CBN compound, fans went up to him and asked for photographs which the actor gladly obliged. A fan relates: “Ang bait ni Aljur, maraming nagpapa-picture sa kanya at pinagbibigyan niya lahat. Nakangiti pa siya parati.”
The question that most of us are probably after is, did Aljur passed his auditions? Your guess is as good as ours. Let’s all wait and see if Aljur will be given projects by the Kapamilya network. But we sincerely hope he’ll get to have his second chance to show everyone what he’s got.
