Ahron Villena turned to his Facebook account for what he says will be the last time he will talk about Kakai Bautista’s recent statement about him. Kakai was romantically linked with Ahron, but neither of them confirmed anything about it.
In an interview last week, Kakai said she accepted the actor for who he is. This statement made netizens to react and speculate about the actor’s gender.
Ahron apparently ‘friendzoned’ Kakai and she was accused of being an “assuming girl.”
Ahron reacted on his Facebook account, where he claimed they have never been in a relationship.
Kakai also made a cryptic post on her Instagram account with a quote from Thomas Jefferson which says: “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.”
Ahron recently poured his heart out again on Facebook. He says this will be the last time he will be talking about the said issue. He said there were strangers and friends who gave their two cents on the issue.
Some encouraged him to speak out because they knew who he really is. Others said he deserved to be outed because he humiliated Kakai.
The Kapamilya actor did not deny that he used strong words and apologized for being offensive. Ahron, however, insists everything he said were true.
He believes he did the right thing to let everyone know his side as his reputation is at stake. Ahron also said he refuses to let his reputation be abused by a person who finds it convenient to use him for the promotion of her upcoming show. He said those were honest words of an angry guy meant to express one’s feeling but not with the intention to shame anybody.
Ahron wrote in a lengthy post on Facebook: “Ngayon, eto na naman ako. Defending not my sexuality like what she intentionally implied, because some of you have obviously formed your own opinion based on what you want to believe. Pero gusto ko lang ihinga ang inis ko sa pagkakadawit ng pangalan ko sa promotion niya.” Kakai’s past issue with him was brought up when she was at the height of promoting her upcoming concert.
He says he was just annoyed but confessed that he is no longer angry at her. He realized she stil hold grudge when he thought, everything was already fine between them. This is based on the last time they have seen each other.
Ahron said he believes that Kakai’s malicious words stemmed out of bitterness. He said he is saying this in the open not to insult but to simply state a fact.
Ahron hopes she will find it in her heart to remember the good times they have had. For his part, he says he has forgiven her.
Ahron ended his Facebook post by thanking all those who continue to believe and support him. And for those who are bashing him online, he simply said, “may God be the judge.”
