Filipinos are notorious for being social media bullies, yet most of us are crybabies when someone degrades us.
The recently concluded Battle of Brisbane drew flak from Filipino netizens, especially Manny Pacquiao fans, when the senator loat his title to Australian professional boxer Jeff Horn.
Because of his loss, enraged Pacquiao fans have been targeting Jeff on social media. Not even his wife, Joanna, was spared with the vicious sexist comments from these fans.

From Instagram to Jeff’s Facebook page, Filipinos loves to prove that the Philippines, is indeed, the Bashing Capital of the World. The derogatory comments towards Jeff and Joanna were so intense that even United Kingdom’s Daily Mail made an article about it — a embarrassing side of being a Filipino.
While singer Jim Paredes celebrated the loss of the controversial senator, actress Agot Isidro took to Twitter to criticize this shameful trait of Filipinos. She shared that Daily Mail article and tweeted, “Are we a country of vile, sore losers? Nakakahiya!”
As expected, bigoted Duterte supporters uncomprehendingly attacked the “Ang Probinsyano” actress. Luckily, there were some people in the comment section who understood Agot’s sentiments.
