- The police had already filed criminal charges against the singer and he will be subjected to further inquest.

‘Tawag ng Tanghala’n Grand Champ Noven Belleza recently made headlines after he was accused of rape in Cebu City last weekend right after he performed as guest in Vice Ganda’s ‘Pusuan Mo Si Vice Ganda sa Cebu” held at the IC3 Convention Center. The 22-year-old singing champ tried to allegedly rape a 19=year-old fellow entertainer at his condominium unit in Cebu.
Mabolo Police Station Chief said the alleged victim went to their station before Vice Ganda’s concert seeking for assistance. It was also reported that the alleged victim’s family were the ones who nabbed Belleza.
Medicolegal or physical examination on the victim allegedly shows she was indeed possibly raped. Belleza, reportedly did not resist the arrest.

19 July 2017Noven Belleza posted bail today in connection with the charge of sexual assault filed with the Regional Trial Court of Cebu City.
Noven asserts that he did not commit the crime charged and he will prove his innocence in the course of the legal proceedings.
If the alleged rape was true and Belleza was proven guilty, then he must have lost more than what he has gained from his short-lived fame. He could’ve had a lot of opportunities and his life is slowly picking up from poverty. But because of this issue, his name and reputation has been ruined.
