It had always been a tradition for the show ASAP to welcome someone who recently became a member of the ‘Kapamilya’ network. Richard Gutierrez, the newest addition to the roster of Kapamilya talents was welcomed officially last Sunday.
His significant other, Sarah Lahbati opened the show with an electrifying production number.
Richard came to guest on the said show with his family in full support on the audience such as his mom, Annabelle Rama, along with grandchildren Lorin and Venice [daughters of Ruffa, Richard’s elder sister] and his offspring, Baby Zion [his son with Lahbati].
During the show, there was also a video shown where his past leading ladies gave some message for Richard like Iza Calzado, Cristine Reyes and KC Concepcion.
“Yes, guesting here [on ASAP] was a surreal experience. No, I can’t hardly imagine that finally andito na ako,” beams Richard during an interview. “The welcome from those Kapamilya stars made me feel so at home here. I also saw Toni [Gonzaga] and Jolina who are familiar to me. So, I’m happy to be here,” added Richard who plays a vampire king in ABS-CBN’s latest fantasy series, “La Luna Sangre.”
Richard will also be doing a movie with Star Cinema opposite Angelica Panganiban and this will also mark his reunion film with former love team, Angel Locsin.
He also revealed that he was supposed to travel as part of his plans this year but it had to take a backseat for a while as he will soon be busy shooting the said Star Cinema movie. He promised to be more visible in showbiz now after taking a respite for some years from the industry.
“I took some time off, spend time with my family and of course, I saw Zion grew up—so I relish the feeling that finally I’m back on the grind and I’m here to embrace more work load,” Richard said.
