Few minutes after the lock down of Resorts World Manila (RWM) after a gunfire erupted from the bonnet-wearing men at the casino complex in Pasay City shortly after midnight of Friday (June 2), their official Social Media accounts.
Gunfire and explosions were reported at the hotel sometime after midnight Friday local time. Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that there is a “fire alert” at the Resort World Manila in Pasay about 12:30 a.m. local time.
A personnel of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said at least 25 people were injured and were taken to various hospitals.
“Resorts World Manila is currently on lockdown following reports of gunfire from unidentified men.”
“The Company is working closely with the Philippine National Police to ensure that all guests and employees are safe.”
