The record label’s resident songwriter and album producer Jonathan Manalo was there to give the award to Maymay. According to Jonathan, the album has achieved a gold status in a short period of time.
As per Philippine Association of the Record Record Industry (PARI), an album would get a gold certification if it sells at least 7,500 copies in the Philippines country.
Maymay could not contain her happiness; she recalled the time when she was just dreaming to become a recording artist.
Additionally, on her Instagram, Maymay expressed her gratitude to Star Music for helping her fulfill her “ultimate dream.” She then thanked all her fans who supported her since day one.
Congratulations, Maymay! Next target: Platinum Record award.
