A viral letter is currently circulating in social media that make some Kapamilya fans reminisce the series of kilig that Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga have once had.
It was an old love letter from Aga, from the Broadway star’s 4-year old book “Playlist — A Celebration of 35 Years”. Based on the letter, the actor considered Lea as “the one that got away.”
In the letter, Aga admitted that “The Voice Teens” coach never knew that he loved her. Aga continued by reminiscing how he became paired up with Lea in the 1992 film “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal”. He also stressed that the film gave his career another spark.
“Lea is the one that got away. And she never knew,” he confessed. “So now she knows. We are older and wiser now, we have gone our own ways, we are no longer the same. But the fire has not ebbed.”
He added, “Rather it has grown deeper, stronger, quieter, more enduring. I love her still, but perhaps because she got away, I have her as a friend now, and so I will always have her.”
Because the sweet letter suddenly got viral, the plan for the former loveteam’s supposed comeback movie last 2015 in Star Cinema has been brought up by fans.
Additionally, Lea concluded that their fans have a “very long, long, long wait” for their love team’s comeback on the big screen.
Earlier this June, Aga and Lea were spotted in a dinner but with the respective partners. The two stars are now both friends and have kids with their spouses.
