- Heart Evangelista was previously bashed either because of her costume as Alwina or because she has revived Angel Locsin’s role in GMA Network’s “Mulawin vs. Ravena” fantasy teleserye.
- The fans didn’t liked the idea that Heart had gotten the role originated by Angel, thus all the bashing on social media.
- Fellow Kapuso star Dennis Trillo even came to Heart’s rescue when the actor defended her from the bashers.
- The introduction of Heart playing Alwina didn’t sit well with the fans.
- Some were even criticizing her costume because they said it looked like an adult diaper. Trillo even pleaded to fans to give Heart a chance to play Alwina.
On the June 21 episode of “Mulawin vs Ravena”, Heart Evangelista’s character Alwynna took her last breath in the said episode.
Alwina was repeatedly stabbed to death by Ravena Queen Rashna, played by Chynna Ortaleza. Netizens this time had given Heart a lot of positive comments.
Thou shalt not judge a book by its cover. Cliche as it may sound, but it still rings true even up to now.
This has happened to Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista. Before the GMA Network fantasy series “Mulawin vs Ravena” began, she was mocked at because of her costume which netizens said looked like an adult diaper. She was also bashed because the fans didn’t want her to play the role of Alwina, which was originally portrayed by Angel Locsin.
This didn’t sit well with the fans of the original version of “Mulawin.”
But things are different now. Heart was able to prove she deserved to play the role of Alwina. Her character was killed last June 21, in an episode where she and Ravena Queen Rashana (Chynna Ortaleza) fought with each other.
Instead of bashing, Heart received a lot of compliments as well as message of sadness because her character will no longer be seen in the said fantasy series.
Heart also took time to read and retweet comments from netizens about her character’s death.
Heart also tweeted how she felt upon seeing Alwina’s death.
She wrote: “Fallen angel…[sad emoji[ #Alwina #MVRPaghanga”
The Kapuso actress then posted a short goodbye for Alwina: “Maraming salamat sa pagtiwala sa GMA at sa lahat ng nagmahal kay Alwina [heart emoji]. I will never forget you #Alwina #MVRPaghanga”
Heart now moves on with other projects including an exciting new romantic-comedy series entitled “My Korean Jagiya [dear]” which will soon be seen on GMA Network.
