After being lambasted on Facebook last Sunday, June 18, radio commentator Erwin Tulfo took to Twitter this time, to fire back at Ed Lingao’s lengthy post.
On his Twitter account @etulfo2011, Tulfo called Lingao a “lousy TV5 newscaster and journalist” who wants fame at the expense of others.
The twitter post which also includes screen shots of his lengthy statement also slammed Lingao for allegedly ruining Father’s day through a below-the-belt attack on him.
“Unfortunately, what would have been a perfect Fathers(sic) Day was ruined by a collegue’s(sic) indiscretion or idiocy, which I find as a below-the-belt attack on my person,” he said.
The radio broadcaster also claimed he was surprised why Lingao “harangue” him on Facebook for his criticism against Sen. Risa Hontiveros view on Martial Law in Mindanao.
Tulfo has been drawing flaw and receiving negative reactions from people in social media after his controversial video lambasting Ed Lingao.
On the other hand, Lingao’s Facebook post rebutting Tulfo has been receiving support and admiration from netizens mostly saying, it’s a good thing that someone has stood up against Tulfo.
But for Tulfo what Ed did was unprofessional and treacherous.
“But for him to treacherously attack me personally is uncalled for and smacks of unprofessionalism. Who the hell is this “Ed Langaw” demanding for my suspension by TV5, as well as the KBP”, he rants.
In the end, Tulfo said his heart is still full of forgiveness especially for a father who’s grieving for a lost daughter.
