- Edgar Allan Guzman is returning to GMA Network after 11 years of being a Kapatid and a Kapamilya.
- The actor will be doing his first-ever teleserye in the Kapuso network with actress Heart Evangelista.
- He also revealed he missed doing teleseryes so he decided to work with his mother network while his scheduled soap in ABS-CBN is still on hold.
After doing several projects with ABS-CBN and TV5, actor Edgar Allan Guzman decided to return to the TV station where he belongs.
EA has gained popularity when he joined the “Eat Bulaga” segment, Mr. Pogi, in 2006. He then established his career on TV5 a year later and had moved to the Kapamilya network in 2015.
Now, for the first time after 11 years, EA will be starring in his debut show in Kapuso network titled “My Korean Jagiya”. It is set to premiere this 2017 and actress Heart Evangelista will be joining him. The cast of “My Korean Jagiya” has also had its story conference last June 19.
The former Kapamilya actor was last seen in the hit afternoon show “Doble Kara”, where he worked with Julia Montes and Sam Milby.
So why did he leave the Kapamilya network?
He also added: “Nakaka-miss din magkaroon ng teleserye. Aaminin ko, hinahanap ko rin ito. Yung Doble Kara, tumagal ng more than a year. Kaya naman excited ako sa bago kong teleserye.”
Is he going back to ABS-CBN after his project in his mother network? EA stressed that he said that he does not have any exclusive contract with the two networks.
He also revealed that he received an offer from ABS-CBN; however, the soap which he was supposed to do has been put on hold.
