People were surprised when Maine Mendoza suddenly decided to deactivate her Twitter account. All her previous tweets and posts is currently unavailable on twitter.
Before this, the Kapuso star said on June 1 that the AlDub fans are getting too protective of them that they already crossed some lines.
She earlier asked them to minimize bashing the people who dislike their love team.
“Enough with the foul words, guys.”
Maine saw the harsh posts of her fans towards others. It made her very unhappy and frustrated that led to losing interest in social media.
“I do not get how people can throw so much hate on others. I mean.. inano ba nila kayo?” she wrote.
“I know how much you love us and how hard you try to protect us but enough with the foul words, guys.. Hindi na tama.”
Still grateful
She’s still thankful for those who believe in her and Alden Richards. However, it is clear that Maine will not tolerate the misbehavior of the fans.
Some of them already victimized Julie Anne San Jose, Thea Tolentino, Koreen Medina, and Sef Cadayona.
Though Maine’s decision saddened many, her 4.5 million followers are left with no choice but to wait for the time she would be ready to tweet again.
In the meantime, Maine just wishes that they would learn their lesson and accept the situation.
