It might take time for Anne Curtis to meet her idol Gong Yoo personally, but the “It’s Showtime” host will soom be thrilled as Viva, her agency, will be paired him to another Korean actor soon through a movie under Viva Films.
An article by Salve Asis of Philstar is currently circulating in social media. In fact, the article has caught the attention of Anne. She even retweeted the photo of it and said: “Praying.”
According to the article, it was the big boss of Viva Group of Companies, Mr. Vic del Rosario, was the one who disclosed the plan. To make it more exciting, Boss Vic has been negotiating with unnamed Korean companies to materialize the plan.
He said that he is currently negotiating with three Korean actors and assured that Filipino K-Drama fans will recognize them. But of course, it would be a dream come true for Anne if the big boss of Viva managed to close a deal with the “Goblin” actor.
For the meantime, Anne is currently filming with actor Dingdong Dantes for an upcoming movie under Viva Films titled “Insomnia”. This is the first time that the two actors will topbill a movie together.
Meanwhile, Viva Internationals has gotten the chance to distribute some of South Korea’s top movies this year. One particular film was “Battleship Island”, starring Korean actor Song Joong Ki, who played the role of Captain Yoo Shi-Jin in “Descendants of the Sun”.
The film has no definite play date in the country, but Boss Vic is hoping that Song Joong Ki will accept his invitation to come to the Philippines to promote his movie.
