GMA Network’s “Meant To Be” ended with flying colors as it surged to the number 2 position on Friday, June 23.
From the latest data by AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Meant To Be” posted a rating of 10.3% to climb to the number 2 spot just 0.5% below primetime leader “La Luna Sangre’s” 10.8%. This is the highest ranking “Meant To Be” was able to reach even though it consistently beat direct rival “A Love To Last” which on Friday scored 6.6% to settle in the 8th spot.
“Meant To Be” which starred Barbie Forteza with four other leading men ran for more than 6 months on before it bade goodbye last Friday. With “Meant To Be” surging to number 2 former number 2, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” slipped to the number 3 spot with 10.0%.
Meanwhile, on weekend, “Maalaala Mo Kaya’s” second father’s day special was again warmly received by the viewers making it the most watch program last Saturday, June 24. Featuring the story of super dad Tatay George Belarmino with Ketchup Eusebio in the lead, “MMK” posted a rating of 11.0%, 1.3% higher than rival “Magpakailanman” which posted 9.7% and settled in the number 3 spot.
“The Voice Teens” meanwhile was comfortable at the 2nd spot with 10.1%.
