After 12 years of being together, doctors Hayden Kho and Vickie Belo finally tied the knot.
The civil wedding happened last June 21 and was officiated by Makati City Mayor Abby Binay. Their daughter Scarlet Snow bore witness to the wonderful ceremony.
It may be simple, the couple showed how special it was to them.
In Dra. Belo’s Instagram post, she wrote:
“I was afraid that I would feel like I would lose my freedom by getting married.
“Instead I feel joyful and free.”
Hayden quoted a bible verse on his turn, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
Yaya Binay
Netizens did not let the event pass without noticing some details. Some of them made fun of Abby Binay because she looked very simple almost to the extent of looking like Scarlet’s “Yaya.”
“Sorry, Akala ko rin yaya sya ng Bata. Pero ubod din ng yaman yan si Mayor ng Makati, Hindi Lang halata na Mayaman, simple Lang si mayor at mabait. God bless to all of you.”
“Sorry ha! Sa totoo lang akala ko talaga yaya ni scarlet yon e ng mabasa ko sa mga comment si binay daw! Omg! Sorry!”
“Kaloka ka I was thinking Scarlet’s Ya ya. Next time Ms. Abby mag make up po kayo at konting jewelry.”
“Omg! I’m sorry pero akala ko Yaya ng baby nila ang katabi hahahaha si Binay pala yan hahaha.”
Mayor Abby wore a dress and few dabs of makeup. Maybe this was the reason for social media to react that way.
