Former beauty queen and model Valerie Weigmann recently said yes to long-time beau lawyer Bodie Pulido [the brother of GMA News reporter Maki Pulido]. The proposal was held at the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru.
Valerie posted a photo of the said proposal in her Instagram account with the caption: “And, the highlight of the whole trip…finding my forever in the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. After 7 years you sealed the deal in the most excellent way.”
The jet-setting couple have been together for 7 years. And it’s a first time for Filipinos to have a proposal held at Machu Picchu.
Valerie gained popularity when she joined “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.” She eventually became a household name when she joined the hit noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”
She later joined Miss World Philippines in 2014. And later on competed in the international pageant in London where she placed in the top 25. Valerie has since then relocated to New York where she works as model for designers like Irina Vitjaz and Ane Amour.
