Asia’s Darling Sandara Park insisted that she really wanted to work with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
For us, it’s no secret that working with John Lloyd has been a dream for Sandara since then.
That’s why during the press conference for her first-ever Korean film “One Step”, Sandara didn’t fail to mention John Lloyd when she was asked about a Filipino actor she wanted to work with.
“Sa Pilipinas talaga, dati ko pa naman sinasabi na gusto ko maka-partner si John Lloyd Cruz. Iba ang mga mata niya habang umaarte siya. Gusto ko gumawa ng romantic comedy with him,” she said.
Sandara then explained why the Kapamilya actor is the undisputed dream actor for her: “Si John Lloyd kasi, nakaka-in love ang mga mata niya eh.”
For Korean actors, the former 2NE1 member also stressed that she wanted to work with Song Joong-Ki and Gong Yoo.
“Ay oo, ang dami kong gusto makasama sa Korea. Gusto ko sila maka-partner isa-isa. Ang daming magagaling na artista sa Korea, at sana makasama ko sila isa-isa.”
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old said the she feels glad now that she enters the movie world.
She explained, “Actually sabi nila mas mahirap pumasok sa movie world kesa mga koreanovela. So, very thankful ako na nakagawa ako ng movie. And nag-enjoy talaga ako sa shooting namin.”
Finally, Sandara cited her showbiz career in the Philippines helped her do “One Step”, which is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
“Ang laking tulong na nag-artista ako dito sa Pilipinas noon, kahit na 10 years ago pa `yon. Akala ko nga nakalimutan ko na umarte.”
