Members of girl group Mocha Girls might soon step Malacañan and follow the footsteps of newly-appointed Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.
Mocha’s live video on Facebook showed how President Duterte offered government positions to the former’s fellow members.

In the video, President Rodrigo Duterte said, “Gusto ninyo magtrabaho, okay lang.”
President Duterte also defended Mocha from people who expressed their disapproval towards her new government position.
“Inggit lang iyan. Inggit iyan sila na ikaw dumating doon. Sabi ko, ‘Ako, I decided to employ her.’
“Sana sinabi ko, ‘May utang na loob ako? What’s wrong in paying?’ Tutal ako naman ang may-ari ng Malacañang ngayon,” he said.

The president also said that the girls should not be put in one room together. He stressed, “I-distribute ko kayo sa MTRCB… Hindi kayo puwede mag-isang opisina. Masyadong maingay.”
Additionally, the President Duterte even proposed to include the group in his trips overseas to entertain the Filipino communities.
“Dapat kayo ang magpaligaya ng mga Pilipino. Kung saan ako magpunta, dapat nandoon kayo kasi may mga Pilipino doon eh,” he said. To which Mocha responded, “Asahan namin iyan, sir, ah.”
The Mocha Girls performed in Duterte’s campaign rallies during the May 2016 Presidential Election.
