Paul Salas is one of the many young celebrities who grew up before our very eyes.
But he’s now a grown-up young man who happens to have a dashboard abs. Yes, the young guy has power six-pack abs. And a photo of himself where his muscles are being shown went viral recently.
Salas posted his photo and shared them on social media after he went to the gym. Little did he knew it’ll be going viral on the internet. “Hindi kop o talaga planong i-post ‘yun,” he says.
Pero okay naman pala,” reveals Salas in an interview.
He was surprised that pretty soon his followers and online supporters has grown. He also received a lot of compliments from netizens.
“Nababasa ko madaming nag-admire sa Twitter, yung mga gay sites na ganun, ‘yung iba may mga account sila na mga gym goer din gaya ko, as in madami talagang followers,” said Paul who is part of the cast of Star Cinema’s latest movie Dear Other Self with Jodi Sta. Maria, Xian Lim and Joseph Marco as lead stars.
How does he feel that his photo went viral?
And he also admitted he’s gotten a slew of gay admirers too because of such photo. Paul doesn’t really mind. He takes things positively saying: “At least, nadagdagan ‘yung supporters ko.
Was it hard to build muscles considering he’s only 18 years old?
Like ‘yung mag-work out at mag-basketball.”
“Saka I believe this will also help me when I get back to doing teleserye. I can now afford to play more mature roles and not just pa-cute roles.”
Paul also admits he’s currently single. He has parted ways with his non-showbiz girlfriend. “iba po kasi ang mundo niya. Ako sa showbiz, acting yung ginagawa ko tapos siya iba naman, so hindi kami nagkakaintindihan, hindi niya naiintindihan ‘yung trabaho ko,” he reasons out.
For now, Salas says he’s not ready to love yet and would rather concentrate on his showbiz career. But he says he’s open to date girls from showbiz.
