- The Kapuso star shares how she handles her bashers
When asked about how she deals with the haters, Maine Mendoza shares that she’s used to them being consistently present.
She’s been in the show business for two years now and already had her fair share of negative comments.
“Alam mo, minsan, yun ang nila-lunch ko: the bashers and the haters,”
“Personally, I’m used to negative stuff because I’m a pessimist. Sanay ako sa mga ganyan.
“Sometimes I take the time to visit their accounts to see the nasty things they say about me.” she narrated.
Breakthrough star
Maine got into the spotlight last 2015 through her loveteam, AlDub (Alden and Yaya Dub) with Alden Richards. Since then, she’s been in and out of shows and endorsements.
The two is currently busy on their primetime series Destined To Be Yours which will end by the end of the month.
She believes that this show made her improve as an actress,
“Dito sinubok lahat sa akin, eh.
“Una pa lang, gigising ka ng alas-kwatro ng umaga. That was a big adjustment for me because I’m a night person.
“Also, I had to constantly improve as an actress.
“I’ve learned that a soap opera is the ultimate baptism of fire as an actress.”
Maine remains humble despite the bright lights and continuous success she’s having in life.
