Megastar Sharon Cuneta quietly left the country recently. She probably had advanced tapings fort The Voice Teens. Sharon turned to her Facebook account to bid everyone goodbye. She didn’t say where her destination is. But her photo showed her in a long haul flight wearing her pyjamas on a plane ride.
Sharon reasons out that ‘pain and fatigue’ in the recent weeks made her decide to leave on her own and get that much-deserved vacation.
In verbatim, Sharon shared: “Bye for now…Philippines. The girl’s been through way too much pain and fatigue in the past few weeks, she has to collect herself and regroup once again. Being away from everything mundane and familiar provides a different, fresh perspective. The only thing I hate about being away from my family is, well, just that. But we all always have to take care of #1 too — meaning, ourselves. Otherwise how can we take care of others? Love and God bless us all! Disappearing muna. Thank God for a huge world apart from what we already know. P.S. In my seat- and airline pajamas.”
It will be recalled that Sharon became so affected when her husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan sided with detained senator Leila de Lima. Then one of her favorite composers Willy Cruz passed away soon after. Sharon grieved and mourned for the man who was responsible for most of her hit songs. There was even a time when she wouldn’t want to talk to anyone. Her ex husband, Gabby Concepcion also recently declined the project (supposedly a reunion movie for the ex couple) which they were supposed to work on. Talks have it that Sharon had really looked forward to the said project, even successfully losing more pounds to suit her role.
Perhaps, all these contribute to Sharon’s decision to travel and clear her mind off the negativity.
