Former “Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7” housemate Kisses Delavin just celebrated her 18th birthday. She is facing another year with a better perspective!
The young star shares that she wants to focus more on her showbiz career that’s why she’ll take a break from her student life. Kisses is a first year Accountancy Major at De La Salle University.
“When I was young, pangarap ko talaga ang showbiz. It’s so glamorous, full of bright lights, fancy dresses and makeup, tapos parang laging masaya.”
However, after experiencing those pros of her now rising fame, Kisses also saw the downside of her work. She learned that there will always be people who will not appreciate her and have some negative things to say.
“I realized that when you are in showbiz, hindi ka magiging masaya all the time. Darating ‘yung oras na talagang iiyak ka. Lahat ng mga masasakit na salita titiisin mo,” she revealed.
She was tagged as maldita, and a matapobre by her haters.
But being the graceful lady that she is, Kisses faces them with kindness.
“Sometimes people only judge you based on how you look on the outside and don’t go beyond first impressions. Mahirap kasi, they don’t try to understand you. The stereotype is there na dahil sumali ka ng pageant, you’re not smart or not willing to put in the hard work,” she revealed.
Kisses gets her strength from her many fans who never fail to support her.
“I can’t thank my fans enough, because they’re the sweetest. Kahit nalulungkot ako or may pinagdadaanan, sila ‘yung nagbibigay buhay at rason para sumaya,” she said. “Gusto ko rin sila pasayahin, gusto ko silang pangitiin, at gusto ko rin sila bigyan ng pag-asa.”
