The 37-year-old renowned actor Jericho Rosales has one question in his mind that he never got the chance to ask his father, who passed away on March 2.
“Where did you meet mom?”
Jericho told the host of “Tonight With Boy Abunda” that like all other children left by their parents, he too had many things he wished he’d talked to with his father before he was dead.
“Hindi na nagkaroon ng chance eh,” he said. “Everybody wishes they had more time with their parents.”
As he recalls, the actor shared that he never fell short of making his father feel loved when he was still alive.
“I never missed the chance to say ‘I love you’,” Jericho said. “Before si papa medyo matigas ‘yan, but ‘yong mga last five, seven or eight years, ‘yon he was starting to say ‘I love you’.”
Last March 29, Jericho expressed that he wants to journey to the San Juanico Bridge using his motorcycle to replicate an old and iconic photo of his father at the same spot. He told Boy Abunda that his father once sold insurance policies with only his bike as a companion.
His caption contained a quick message for his father, “I will replicate all the great things you did in life. I never got to say how amazing you are and that you are my hero. But I will be strong and patient. I will rejoice. And will always look up because I know that one day we will ride together in Heaven.”
This is so touching, Jericho! Do you agree?
