Kapamilya stars Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu admitted that they didn’t put a closure on their breakup back then.
On their interview with “Tonight With Boy Abunda”, the two actors talked about the past relationship they had with each other.
Host Boy Abunda asked Kim and Gerald, “Ano ‘yung naging closure [ng relationship n’yo]?”
Kim answered, “‘Yun na nga po, wala po kasi eh. Hindi na lang po kami nag-text. Hindi na nag-text, in-erase ko na ‘yung number [ni Gerald].”
She even quipped, “Wow, ganda ko, as if!”
Kim added, “Siyempre noong bandang huli, text-text, tapos hanggang sa, ‘Oo nga, alis na siya! Gano’n!’ Pero okay na kami – mas mahalaga na ‘yung gano’n.”
However, Gerald instisted that he really can’t remember how they ended their relationship. But he stressed that he’s happy and feels privileged to get back with Kim again… at least for “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”.
He said, “Ngayon, ito po kasi yung opportunity na makapag-catch up po kami at kumbaga, opo, may pinagsamahan kami, pero it’s like I’m getting to know her again.”
At the last part of the interview, Boy asked the reunited love team’s to give love advice to one another.
Kim said to her ex-boyfriend, “Value who or what you have.”
For his part, Gerald recalled their relation ship and said, “Sa totoo lang, Tito Boy, kung paano po siya magmahal, sobrang perfect na eh. Honestly.
“Kaya siguro bilang isang lalaki, ako po talaga yung siguro, immature, hindi ko pa bina-value kung ano yung meron ako noon.
“Pag nagmahal siya, buung-buo eh. Kaya napakasuwerte ng lalaking mamahalin [ni Kim].”
Meanwhile, their reunion series, “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” is set to air on May 1 before “It’s Showtime”.
