The remake of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” got extended until 2018 and it’s now welcoming new characters into the second book of their story.

Arjo Atayde’s character Joaquin Tuazon was recently put to death. This demanded a fresh set of roles to take and it was received by award-winning celebrities in the industry including John Arcilla, Angel Aquino, and Sid Lucero.
They will also be joined by Ejay Falcon, Mitch Valdez, Pokwang, Jhong Hilario and 1980s action movie icon Lito Lapid. All of them are now part of the “Probinsyano” family loved by the Filipino viewers.
Coco Martin, who plays Cardo Dalisay in the top-billing series, admits that he always wanted to have an opportunity to work with Arcilla because of his known versatility.
Arcilla is set to portray the role of Renato Lipolito, director of National Defense Agency. He will be spearheading the fight against terrorism.
