Alden Richards and Dominic Roco became discovered they could be the best of friends after working in GMA 7 primetime TV series, “Destined To Be Yours.”
The two actors became really close during the set. They even had a “bro code” that they follow now. It’s a term used by guys during courtship stage with girls.
In fact, one of the bro codes that they’ve both agreed upon was never to fall for the same girl. In the vernacular, “Ang kay Pedro ay kay Pedro. Ang kay Juan ay kay Juan.”
“Siyempre, ‘pag alam mo na sa kanya [Dominic], kahit pa nag-break, hands-off ka na. Alam mong hindi puwede,” reveals Alden.
“But like in any rule, there’s always an exception,” says Dominic. “Pero there are some cases kasi for example, may kaibigan ka at may girlfriend siya. Nag-break sila at gusto mong ligawan yung girl, siyempre ‘yung gagawin mo is to ask permission from the guy.”
Alden shared that it has happened one time. A friend asked for his permission if he could court his ex-girlfriend. “Sa akin naman, hindi na rin big deal kung anumang gawin nung girl kasi nga break na kami and ako yung nakipag-break.”
“She [the girl being courted] has the right to choose. And it just so happened na best friend ko yung manliligaw niya.”
But the two actors says as much as possible, they don’t want to see themselves falling for the same girl.
