Kapuso star Alden Richards successfully wrapped up his sold-out concert, titled “Upsurge”, at Kia Theatre on May 27.
Overwhelmed with his fans’ response, Alden could not contain his emotion as he expressed his gratitude towards them. The Pambansang Bae became more emotional when he remembered his late mother, Rosario, who died from pneumonia more than 9 years ago.
Kasi every day, when you lose someone na napakahalaga sa‘yo, ang hirap maka-move on, kahit nine years na.”
He then cited his mother as his cornerstone in life. Gusto mo nakikita ka nilang nili-live out ‘yung dream for them.
Moreover, the Kalyeserye star dedicated his concert to his mother as his tears rolled down on his face.
“So, ma, wherever you are, this concert is for you and I love you so much. Hindi na magbabago every day.”
Meanwhile, based on the published article by Abante, someone had shown his interest to produce Alden’s “Upsurge” concert. However, due to the actor’s busy schedule, the follow-up concert was not materialized.
