While everyone is talking about the actress who will play the role of Darna, there are still few actresses who were linked and has expressed their interest to play Valentina.
Valentina is the infamous super villainess in “Darna”, and is considered by many as the superheroine’s mortal enemy.
Among the actresses who is supposedly being considered is Sarah Lahabati. However, she quickly denied the rumors.
“Honestly, I have no idea… I have no confirmation from my boss or from Viva management,” she said.
But she would definitely play as Valentina if she would given the chance.
Sarah emphasized, “Kung matuloy man, of course I would love to play a villain. I would love to play Valentina. Sana. If it’s for me, it’s for me. It’s just talks.”
Star Cinema has yet to announce the cast of this epic movie. However, based on director Erik Matti’s activities, it seems like fans will not able to see “Darna” by next year or two.
Currently, Erik is busy with Anne Curtis’s newest film “Buy Bust”, under VIVA Films. He’s also scheduled to direct Jennlyn Mercado’s reality movie under Regal Films.
