Rhodora Pascual-Morales clarified that her team has no intention to challenge “Gandang Gabi Vice” through “Trip Ni Kris”.
Ms Rhodora is the producer of “Trip Ni Kris”, an upcoming television special of Kris Aquino, scheduled to air on April 9 after “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho”.
“Magpapang-abot nang konti ang GGV at ‘Trip Ni Kris’ pero bandang huli na. Ang kalaban niya talaga, ‘yung Sunday’s Best,” she explained.
Rhodoa stressed that she has no intention to make rivalry between Kris’ and Vice Ganda’s show. She elaborated, “Ganito lang ‘yan, ‘yung kay Vice Ganda, alam natin na isa siya sa pinakamalakas ngayon. Hindi naman natin siya gustong itumba or what, hindi mo siya balak itumba.”
She then emphasized that she watches “Gandang Gabi Vice” every Sunday.
“Mahirap gawin ‘yon pero dahil siya, linggo-linggo, may show. ‘Yung mga nanonood, kahit ako nanonood no’n, eh kapag nalaman ko na si Kris, may show, mag-switch muna ako sa kabila dahil special show lang ito.”
Ms Rhodora said that she also likes Vice Ganda. She said, “Si Vice, nandiyan naman ‘yan uli sa isang linggo. ‘Yun ang aking analysis. Gusto ko rin si Vice Ganda, ‘di ba?”
Moreover, she claimed that “Trip Ni Kris” would be able to pull some audience due to curiosity.
“Hindi mo maitutumba ‘yan nang ganoon-ganoon pero marami ang manonood (ng ‘Trip Ni Kris’). Marami ang magiging curious diyan. Talagang papanoorin,” she further explained.
