Two days after the death anniversary of Rico Yan, her former girlfriend Claudine Barretto posted series of his memorabilia on her Instagram account.
One of the photos uploaded by Claudine was a blanket used by the late actor in his film. Claudine also shared the necklace of Rico in her follow-up post.
Fans of their tandem couldn’t help but to express their sadness over the Instagram posts of Claudine.
The actress said she will include the remaining things of Rico, such as his clothes, for her garage sale.
Claudine said they will move into another house and she is planning to establish business in the US with Rico’s sister Tina Marie.
Despite the garage sale, Claudine assured to her and Rico’s fans that she will keep some of her late boyfriend’s valuables.
As for the necklace of Rico, a fan under the username of miss_vuhlehruh asked Claudine to wear it instead of selling it.
Claudine stressed she would not sell it, however, “it’s time to let go of some of his things/clothes.”
She continued, “[I]ve to get rid of so much things ko. Ayaw ng mommy ko magdala ng clutter pa sa lilipatan.”
Rico Yan passed away on 29 March 2002 while staying at Dos Palmas Resorts in Puerto Princesa. According to an autopsy, the actor died from cardiac arrest and acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
