ABS-CBN shocked Kimerald fans as it announced the timeslot for Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s reunion series “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”.
On April 24 ABS-CBN announced that “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” will air on May 1 at 11:30 in the morning, before “It’s Showtime”. This is the first time that the Kimerald teleserye will not air on primetime.
On April 25, Kim posted a quotation on her Instagram account. The quote reads, “Shit happens. Every day. To everyone. The difference is in how people deal with it.”
Kim wrote in her caption: “TRUST the people you WORK WITH. TRUST the people you WORK FOR. #grateful”
The actress’ fans suddenly speculated that the post might be in connection to the timeslot of her reunion series with Gerald.
The post received mixed reactions from fans. Nonetheless, most of them remained optimistic and still expressed their support for Kim and “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”.
Meanwhile, Kim didn’t confirm nor deny that her post was all about the timeslot of her new series.
Additionally, during the series’ grand press launch, Kim said she is aware that her fans are used to watching them on primetime.
However, she emphasized that she’s still hopes to get their support despite the show’s different timeslot.
“Ilang years na rin kami sa showbiz — 11 years. Nasanay silang panoorin kami sa gabi. Ngayon, umaga naman, sana suportahan nila kami,” she said.
What do you think Kim’s post was all about? Will you still support Kimerald despite the different timeslot of “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”?I
