Kapamilya star Judy Ann Santos confirmed that she and her longtime manager Alfie Lorenzo has parted ways.
According to the 38-year-old, she was not under Alfie since August 2016. Judy Ann recalled that she personally talked with her former manager to explain her decision to become independent.
Alfie was Judy Ann’s manager for almost 28 years. “We talked August last year. Pumunta ako sa bahay niya. It was a very proper conversation.
“It’s not a professional thing, it’s a personal decision that I had to make.
“Because Tito Alfie is not just a professional manager. He’s family,” she said at the press conference of the third season of “Bet on Your Baby”.
The host also clarified that her former manager didn’t show any violent reaction towards her decision.
It’s time to move on.”
Meanwhile, it could be recalled that Judy Ann introduced her team management through her Instagram account on January 18.
As for her management team, the actress explained, “Meaning, it’s just me. I decide for myself. My focus now, really, is my family.
“Whatever I do now, whatever project I accept, it’s my family I consider first. I think it’s about time na I have to decide for myself.”
“Bet on Your Baby” marks the return of Judy Ann on local television after her year-long hiatus in showbiz.
