With a successful solo album under Star Music, jam-packed concerts with Birit Queens, mall shows and tours overseas, it’s undeniable that Jona Viray has achieved her dreams one-by-one.
In light to this, columnist Jun Lalin wrote on his Abante Tonite article that Jona is the most-requested star by TFC (The Filipino Channel) fans abroad.
The columnist also wrote that despite Jona’s success, she is still the same singer who is loved by many people.
The writer added, “Never umakyat sa ulo ni Jona na sikat na siya at masyado pa rin siyang mapagkumbaba.
“Kapag binibiro namin si Jona na malayo na ang narating niya at napag-iwanan na niya ‘yung mga dati niyang kasabayan sa Siyete, palagi lang niyang sinasabi na, ‘Hindi naman po! Pare-pareho maman kaming sinusuwerte!’”

Meanwhile, Jona’s version of “Pusong Ligaw” has used as the official soundtrack for ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon series of the same name. “Pusong Ligaw” stars Beauty Gonzaga, Bianca King, Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres. The song is also included in her self-title album under Star Music.
