Showtime host Billy Crawford and actress Coleen Garcia remains mum on the details of their wedding next year. The couple said they’d want to keep things private for the meantime until they’re able to settle everything according to plan.
“I don’t want to share it for now but it’s definitely going to be next summer,” says Coleen who admits she’s very hands-on for her wedding despite being busy on ABS-CBN’s new daytime series Ikaw lang Ang Iibigin with Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu and Jake Cuenca.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Coleen was asked if the said wedding will be held in La Union or Balesin. “Possibly. I mean, Billy and I love the beach but at the same time, we also love the mountains, we both love gardens so it could be anywhere,” shares Coleen.
What the couple has confirmed so far were the prenup shoot which they’ve taken in some parts of the country. They also shared that they’d be giving fans a big surprise once the photos and videos are done. The two promised to share it on social media for all the world to see.
Billy made his proposal to Coleen in December last year and according to Billy, he will make sure turn Coleen’s dream wedding into reality.
For the meantime, Coleen will be acting alongside Jake Cuenca, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson starting on May 1st via Ikaw Lang Ang Iiibigin [before It’s Showtime]. She will be playing the role of Isabelle, the ex-girlfriend of Jake Cuenca who will play the role of Carlos. Coleen will be the antagonist and we all have to see how she will make Kim Chiu’s role miserable.
Coleen admits she needed to prepare for her role in the said project. In an interview, Billy said he’s so proud of his girlfriend because Coleen has given her all to make this project special and worth watching. Knowing how dedicated Coleen is to her work, Billy also says he has no qualms even if his fiancée had intimate scenes with her leading man, he understands it’s all part of work. “I will always support Coleen in every step of the way,” says Billy.
Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin will be directed by Dan Villegas and Onat Diaz, written by Noreen Capili and Anton Pelon. The pilot episode will be airing on May 1st. It’s another exciting teleserye that we shouldn’t miss.
