Actress Bianca King thanked ABS-CBN for the opportunity she has received from the Philippines’ largest network.
The former Kapuso and Kapatid star said she feels like she is starting in showbiz all over again.
At the press conference of her first Kapamilya project “Pusong Ligaw”, Bianca revealed, “I’m excited. Parang second wind s’ya for me. Kasi nga I thought my time in showbiz is over. But I’m very thankful na hinanap ako ng Star Creatives para sa project na ito. So, parang nag-uumpisa ako ulit.”
The 32-year-old admitted that she came to a point in her life when she thought her showbiz career was over.
She confessed, “Akala ko talaga wala na akong career, sa totoo lang. Dumating na ako sa point na, ‘Okay, I have to find something else to do with my life.’
“Nu’ng nasa TV5 ako ng dalawang taon, mahal na mahal ko ‘yung mga show ko doon; and ‘yung show ko doon, casualty siya nu’ng nangyari sa TV5. So, bigla akong nawalan ng show. Kinuha ko ‘yung time na ‘yun para mag-travel.”
Bianca further revealed she came back to blogging after TV5 axed her show. She also hosted several live events.
Furthermore, the now-Kapamilya admitted one of her showbiz dreams.
“Honestly, it’s always been my dream to do a show [in ABS-CBN]. Parang ‘yung feeling ko dati kung makagawa ka ng show sa ABS, it’s such a huge milestone for an actor, because the way that they do shows here is something else talaga.”
In the end, Bianca showed her gratitude to the Kapamilya network and her co-stars and the “Pusong Ligaw” staffs.
“Moving to ABS, to be completely honest, I was terrified. Takot na takot ako sa idea na finally tatapak ako dito, parang surreal nga siya.
“But mabilis na nawala agad ang takot ko — thanks to their guidance; of course, to all of my co-stars, to all the staff, who did not just make me feel welcome but also they made me feel like their friend and their family.”
