After weeks of strong social media war between actress Andi Eigenmann and her former partner Jake Ejercito, the former decided to take down her Twitter account.
Based on the article written by entertainment site PEP.ph, Andi has chosen to deactivate her Twitter account to avoid ranting.
The 26-year-old said through a private message, “Ayaw ko naman po kasi talaga na magsalita. But because Twitter is there, whenever I let my feelings get the best of me, ‘yan yung outlet ko palagi. So, huwag na lang ako mag-Twitter para wala na lang outlet at all.”
She added, “Surfing is the best and only outlet. I just want to stay away from the media already. ‘Di rin naman po nakakabuti sa anak ko na makikipagsagutan pa sa kanila.”
Meanwhile, columnist Alex Brosas threw tirades against Andi Eigenmann. His Bandera article titled “Andi natakot sa banta ng abogado ni Jake; Twitter account binura na”, Alex revealed that the tweet of Jake’s lawyer triggered Andi to deactivate her account
By visiting the Twitter account of Ferdinand Topacio, Jake’s lawyer, one can notice a tweet that reads, “Someone is making it easy for us to prove something important in court.” This is believed to be in connection with Andi’s constant ranting on Twitter.
Alex also wrote on his article: “Ang projection ‘your honor’ kasi [ni Andi] ay palaban siya, matapang at walang inuurungan tapos ngayon ay dinelete niya ang kanyang Twitter account.”
Whether Andi has felt alarmed or not, fans are hoping that the two camps will settle their legal battle in a peaceful way.
