Kapuso taking daytime, Kapamilya taking primetime.
That is the latest story from the latest survey release of AGB Nielsen NUTAM People’s rating from April 3 – 4, 2017.
From a struggling start, “Legally Blind” finally climbed to the number 3 position previously held by ABS-CBN’s “Wildflower”. “Legally Blind” took the 3rd position on both days with 6.7% and 6.2% ratings respectively. “Wowowin”, on the other hand, gets past “Wildflower” on Tuesday, April 4 with 6.1% to 6.0% to take the number 4 position bumping the latter to the number 5 spot.
While GMA Network shows take advantage of the daytime programming, no amount of survey data source changes can make the Kapamilya primetime programs falter.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” again solidifies its standing in primetime rankings beating archrival “Encantadia”. While the Coco Martin led action drama teleserye started on a low key when AGB turned to People’s ratings, it easily climbed back to the top beating Kapuso’s “Encantadia” 13.1% to 12.6% and 13.3% to 12.1% on both survey dates. This is an indication that “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” still manages a huge stronghold in every survey data source of AGB Nielsen.
