Kapuso shows dominating weekend programming.
On its first weekend (April 1 – 2, 2017) using NUTAM People ratings, AGB Nielsen reported dominance of Kapuso shows over Kapamilya rivals.
On Saturday April 1, weekday leader “Ika-6 Na Utos” extended its supremacy as it took the number 1 spot of the daytime ratings board formerly held by “Eat Bulaga!”. “Ika-6 Na Utos” registered a ratings of 9.1% to take the top spot followed by “Eat Bulaga!” with 8.8% and “Imbestigador” in third with 6.6%. Former leader (prior to AGB’s recess) “It’s Showtime” settled in 5th with 5.8% tied with “Wish Ko Lang”.
For primetime, former leaders “Magpakailanman” and “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” again claimed the top spot beating “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”.
“Magpakailanman” topped Saturday primetime with 12.1% followed by “Pepito Manaloto” with 11.0%. “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” went down to 3rd place with 9.9%.
“Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” meanwhile led Sunday primetime with 13.0% followed by “Hay Bahay” with 10.7%. YFSF Kids again settled in 3rd with 10.5%.
