K-drama fever in the Philippines is indeed ineluctable. Anyone could fall in love with it… even celebrities!
Last week, ABS-CBN premiered the Tagalog-dubbed version of “Love in the Moonlight” on its Primetime Bida. The Korean drama became an instant hit, hitting 11.1% ratings against its rival show, according to Kantar Media.
What’s even more interesting is comedian Vice Ganda revealed that he watches the hit Korean drama.
The phenomenal comedian expressed his admiration on Twitter while watching an episode of “Moonlight”.
He said he found himself stalking the two lead actors of the series—Park Bo Gum and Jin Young.
The 40-year-old constantly tweeting something about Park. For example, he would call him his “bebe,” an endearment equivalent to “baby” or “boo.”
He also tagged his Korean friends, international star Sandara Park and fellow “It’s Showtime” host Ryan Bang, on Twitter as he gave hints about his “birthday wish.”
