TV host Kris Aquino have just confirmed her new show to be aired on GMA Network.
This two-hour special will be pitted against ABS-CBN’s “Gandang Gabi Vice” (GGV) and will be titled “Trip ni Kris”.
The talk show, hosted by Vice Ganda, has been consistently beating its rival shows since its debut on 22 May 2011.
Few of many GMA shows that were victimized by the witty and innovative “GGV” were “Tweets for My Sweet”, “Andres de Saya”, “Pare & Pare”, “iBilib”, “Para Sa’yo ang Laban na ‘To”, “Show Me da Manny”, “Sa Puso ni Dok” and the ill-fated “Sanib Puwersa”, which was axed after just four episodes.
Since then, the Kapuso network constantly bringing back “SNBO” in order to attract bigger audiences.
But with the grand return of Queen of All Media on television, we can expect a tighter competition between late-night shows of ABS-CBN and GMA.
Will “Trip ni Kris” become a life-saver for GMA’s Sunday night? We’ll see…
