TV host Kris Aquino was injured while feeding some chickens during her video shoot of “Trip Ni Kris”, her newest TV program.
The 46-year-old took to Instagram to share what happened to her on March 5.
She posted a slideshow and wrote what happened on the caption.
“While touring the organic lettuce farm in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, and while feedin the free range chickens, nahulugan ang left foot ko nung metal,” she shared.
“Siyempre, camera was rolling so tiniis ko… ang bigat and my left foot absorbed the full weight.”
Aquino also thanked those who helped her after the unforgettable foot injury.
She continued, “Thank you Dr. Niño Buenaventura from the ER of Immaculate Conception Medical Center for taking care of me. Thank you to my producer Tita Dory Morales for being compassionate & letting me go home so that I can rest my foot for the next 2 days for the swelling & bruising to subside.
Then, on her next Instagram post, the Queen of All Media can be seen treated as she was sitting in her bed.
She eventually described the kind of metal that fell on her foot. She then said on her video, “Super! Metal ba naman na ganun kakapal ang mag-landing sa paa. Yung fence, yung metal fence yun yung bumagsak sakin. Ang laki kaya ng bruise.”
And although she was injured, Aquino has always has time to joke to people around her. She joked on the video: “Ang fit niya, oh. Tapos kanina, ayaw pa niya akong gamutin!
“Nagpapicture pa muna siya sa kin. Inuna niya yung pagpapapicture. Maliligo ako, sabi niya, wait pa picture muna tayo. So ngayon ang sakit,” she added.
The TV host was then advised to rest for 24 hours, thus she didn’t finish the taping for her new show.
“Rest. No movement muna for 24 hours. And now because of this, sorry sa mga kalabaw at sorry sa mga tilapia, hindi na tayo magme-meet, uuwi muna ako.”
Aquino started to shoot the scenes for her new show on March 3. “Trip Ni Kris” is scheduled to air on March 26.
