People behind the production of the ABS-CBN afternoon series “The Better Half” had finally settled things down with MTRCB.
On February 28, the team faced the Adjudication Committee of MTRCB to answer some complaints about their afternoon series.
Abante Tonite revealed that “The Better Half” team was reminded by the MTRCB to be more cautious in airing sensitive scenes, especially in ‘love scenes’ which are considered lewd by former sex guru Mocha Uson.
Meanwhile, Abante Tonite revealed that Uson is not a part of Adjudication Committee. Thus she didn’t get the chance to face the team from “The Better Half.”
They also revealed that Uson is almost invisible in MTRCB office. In fact, the controversial sexy star went to work just eight times throughout February.
She also has no time to attend meetings with the new chairman, Atty. Rachel Arenas. Therefore, she couldn’t voice out her concerns regarding these so-called ‘soft porn’ on television and discuss it with her fellow board members. To make the situation worse, she would just broadcast herself live on Facebook to whine to her mostly bigoted followers.
Despite the controversy, “The Better Half” enjoys its leadership on afternoon ratings. It has been the beating its rival show “Hahamakin ang Lahat” based on data provided by Kantar Media.
