Aside from Daniel Padilla, Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo admitted she’s excited to work with the King of Hearts.
In her interview with the press on March 24, the Popstar Princess confessed she’s hoping for ABS-CBN and Viva Artist Agency to make her and Daniel’s dream possible.
However, Sarah said there’s no way Daniel and her become on-screen partners.
“Pero hindi kami puwedeng love team dito pero titingnan natin kung anong pwedeng gawin,” she emphasized.
The 28-year-old singer also said she feels flattered when Daniel and his rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo admitted their admiration for her.
She then recalled her days with Daniel on her now-defunct show “Sarah G Live” where the former Teen King used to be her guest.
“Sa ‘Sarah G Live’ pa nu’n. Ang payat pa niya nu’n, totoy na totoy pa. Na-endear na talaga ako sa kanya kasi nakikita ko sa kanya iyong kapatid ko,” she said.
“Tapos cute naman talaga si Daniel so matagal ko nang sinasabi kay Boss Vic (del Rosario of Viva Entertainment) na sana magkatrabaho kami, pero pa-joke lang na, ‘Parang pabata ng pabata iyong mga leading men ko. Daniel Padilla naman diyan,’” she added.
Sarah further explained, “Hindi ko inakala na darating tayo sa point na magkakaroon din ng interes na, ‘Parang puwede yata.’ Kasi feeling ko ang tanda ko na for him. Pero nae-excite ako.”
It could be recalled that Daniel was the one who requested for Star Magic to work with Sarah in a project.
“Nasabi ko kay Mr. M na kung magkakaroon man ako ng movie na iba (ang kasama), si Miss Sarah Geronimo sana. Yun lang naman yun. Sabi niya siya na raw bahala,” he revealed.
