The art of tattoos can be traced back to 5,000 years. Tribals got tattoos done on their bodies for various reasons. The tattoos would denote the tribe they belonged to or were used to ward off evil spirits.
Just few days ago, a veritable part of tradition, has today become a style statement. An AlDub fan, particularly Maine Mendoza inked her idol’s autograph on her arm.
In one of her events, a lucky fan got an autograph from Mendoza on her arm. However, not wishing to let go of this treasure, the fan permanently inked Mendoza’s signature on her wrist.

Mendoza was touched by this gesture of her fan and acknowledged it. She wrote, “Grabe talaga to! May dalawa ka ng Maine sa katawan, ewan ko nalang kung makalimutan mo pa ako. Haha!”
