Maine Mendoza rated her acting skills after the world premiere of “Destined to Be Yours”. It is her first series with Alden Richards since they became a prominent love team.
However, the Dubsmash Queen seems not satisfied with her acting skills when she gave it five stars out of ten.
“Siguro personally iba rin po ang feeling ‘pag sarili ang pinapanood mo. Medyo may ilang factor din, pero sana naibigay ko naman ‘yung kinakailangan,” she explained.
She also added, “Feeling ko ‘yun ‘yung nangyari, naibigay ko lang ‘yung kinakailangan ng eksena.”
In an interview with entertainment site PEP.ph, Mendoza admitted that she felt weird since she’s new to acting.
“Medyo awkward kasi first soap ko ‘yon. Pero medyo fulfilling din po na, ‘Wow, eto na, nag-i-air na yung ginawa namin ni Alden.’”
The 22-year-old is very grateful to fans who have waited for her debut series with Richards.
She also emphasized that the soap’s high TV ratings were just a bonus.
Mendoza then explained, “Nakakatuwa pero ang sabi ko naman po hindi naman po ako after the ratings kasi ito pong soap po namin, gift po talaga namin sa mga taong sumusuporta sa amin.”
“So kung mataas ang ratings, thank you Lord. Bonus na lang po sa ‘min ‘yon,” she added.
Finally, Mendoza invited her fans to continually support “Destined to Be Yours” every evening after “Encantadia”.
