A certain Entertainment Uptake maliciously misinformed its fans about KathNiel’s new film.
On March 18, Uptake posted a collage of KathNiel’s upcoming film “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and a 2008 film “The Accidental Husband” on Twitter.
The caption says: “Netizens are complaining that KathNiel’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ copied the premise ‘The Accidental Husband’ by Uma Thurman.”
However, as we scan through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we didn’t find any ‘complaints’ that could support Uptake’s claims.
Triggered with Uptake’s baseless tweet, netizens were quick to react and advised the admin of the Twitter page to watch KathNiel’s film first before giving jumping into conclusions. Others have also attacked AlDub, Uptake’s favorites, for being “laos”.
Meanwhile, some of them were asking Uptake to show the evidences that could support its claims. However, the page has blocked those who opposes them.
It could also be recalled that the page had tweeted a lot of ‘classified’ information without further evidences.
Contrary to its description, it’s crystal clear that Entertainment Uptake is not a credible page for fans to believe.
