After airing the successful Big Night in Biñan, Laguna, “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” had set a press conference for the Big Four to answer some questions from the press.
Yong Muhajil and Edward Barber answered series of questions, and one of it is about their bashers on social media.
Edward revealed that he didn’t mind them. However, there was a time when a basher brought up a topic about his sister.
“My sister was on PBB for about one point and they… directly insulted her,” he confessed.
That was a time, according to Edward, that things eventually started to hurt him.
He said, “If you attack me directly, that’s fine.” But when it comes to the 16-year-old’s family, bashers are “off-limits.”
“My friends and my family… don’t touch (them),” he stressed.
Yong, on the other hand, said he didn’t read negative comments about him as it would just bring stress to him.
“‘Di naman ako nagbabasa ng mga bashers. Pinababayaan ko lang. Gusto ko lang, happy lang ako palagi,” he said.
The 17-year-old also shared his strong feelings that he can make a career in showbiz to counter his bashers’ tirades that he has no slot in the industry.
“Kasi ‘pag binasa natin ang mga basher, talagang malulungkot tayo. ‘Di rin natin alam, mali sila. May darating na showbiz (career) sa akin.”
The two Big Placers then thanked their fans for the support they were receiving, and emphasized that they will always respect the opinion of others.
